The short version

Your receipt photos are private to your family group. We don't sell your data. We don't show you ads. We don't share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. We collect the minimum data needed to make the app work.

Who we are

ReceiptKid is operated by Christian360 Ltd. When we say "we", "us", or "our" in this policy, we mean Christian360 Ltd.

What we collect

• Phone number: Used for account verification via one-time passcode (OTP). We store a hashed version, not the raw number.
• Display name: The name you choose to show to other members of your family group.
• Receipt photos: Images you upload when submitting claims. These are stored securely and are only visible to members of your family group.
• Claim data: Amounts, descriptions, dates, and statuses of claims and payments you create within the app.
• Device information: Device type and push notification tokens, used solely for delivering notifications.

What we don't collect

• Bank account details
• Credit or debit card numbers
• Location data
• Contacts or address book
• Browsing history

How we use your data

We use your data to:

• Verify your identity via OTP when you sign in
• Display your name and claims to members of your family group
• Send push notifications about claim approvals, payments, and group activity
• Improve the app's reliability and performance

Who can see your data

Only members of your family group can see your claims, receipt photos, and balances. No one outside your group — including other ReceiptKid users — has access.

Data storage and security

Your data is stored on secure servers. Receipt photos are stored using encrypted cloud storage. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Anonymised, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes.

Third parties

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We use the following third-party services to operate the app:

• Twilio: For sending OTP verification codes via SMS
• Expo / Apple / Google: For delivering push notifications
• Cloud hosting: For securely storing data and receipt images

Children's privacy

ReceiptKid is designed for use by families, including children under 16. Children's accounts are managed by a parent or guardian who acts as the group admin. We do not knowingly collect data from children without parental involvement.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and data
• Object to processing of your data
• Export your data in a portable format

This website uses Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics tool that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. No cookie consent banner is required.
